To build a strong pipeline of emerging talent aligned with its international growth strategy, KOMO Group is steadily advancing its first Management Trainee Program. Recent initiatives—from specialized training for internal instructors to the onboarding and structured development of the first trainee cohort—mark the program’s transition from planning to full implementation.
Empowering Internal Instructors to Build a Strong Foundation
At KOMO Group, talent development is regarded as a fundamental responsibility of every manager. To ensure the successful delivery of the Management Trainee Program, the company organized a dedicated training session for internal instructors on June 24.
Mentors and instructors from key business functions, including R&D, production, quality management and sales, participated in the program. The training helped them broaden their roles from subject-matter experts to effective facilitators of professional learning.

With a strong emphasis on practical application, the session covered adult-learning principles, course-development tools and other essential topics. Participants learned how to transform valuable experience and tacit knowledge into structured, standardized training content.
The initiative has not only established a more professional internal instructor network but also laid a solid foundation for the systematic development of KOMO Group’s management trainees.
Welcoming a New Generation of Talent
On July 2, KOMO Group held a welcome ceremony for its first cohort of management trainees. Ten recent graduates, selected through a rigorous recruitment process, officially joined the company.
KOMO Group Founder and Chairman Zeng Guangjian, General Manager Fan Deming, members of the senior management team and representatives from participating departments attended the event and engaged directly with the new employees.

During the ceremony, senior leaders shared insights into industry trends and the Group’s long-term strategic roadmap, emphasizing that talent is a critical driver of sustainable business growth.
Chairman Zeng encouraged the new employees to embrace the transition from university life to the workplace. He highlighted the importance of turning knowledge into action, strengthening execution through hands-on experience and developing the resilience required to grow through challenges.
The event also introduced the program’s core development model, which combines one-on-one mentoring with cross-functional job rotations. This structured approach reflects KOMO Group’s commitment to building a sustainable internal talent pipeline, addressing future capability needs and investing in long-term organizational development.
Accelerating Integration and Professional Growth
Following the welcome ceremony, the trainees began a structured onboarding and development program. In early July, the Administration and Human Resources Management Center launched a series of onboarding courses delivered through a combination of online learning and in-person training.
During the first week, all trainees completed and passed online courses covering the fundamentals of the company’s office automation system, as well as information security and confidentiality. These courses provided essential knowledge and prepared the trainees for the subsequent classroom-based sessions.
On the morning of July 15, Ms Ji, Corporate Culture and Training Supervisor at the Administration and Human Resources Management Center, delivered a course on corporate culture and company policies. The session provided a systematic introduction to KOMO Group’s mission, vision and core values. A post-training assessment was also conducted to reinforce understanding and help the new employees build a strong foundation for their careers at the company.
That afternoon, Dr Xu, Director of the Group Technology Center, presented a specialized session titled Applications and Future Outlook of Rosin-Based Chemical Products. The course offered an in-depth overview of the company’s product portfolio and strategic positioning in bio-based materials and green, low-carbon solutions, broadening the trainees’ technical and industry perspectives.

On the afternoon of July 16, Ms Tan, Manager of the Administration and Human Resources Management Center, provided a detailed briefing on performance evaluation standards during the probationary period, giving the trainees clear expectations and direction for their development.
The management trainees will complete both a probationary period and a structured development period. The onboarding sessions represent only the first phase of the program. Additional specialized courses will cover marketing, sales, production, EHS, and quality management.
From empowering internal instructors and welcoming the first cohort to delivering a structured training curriculum, KOMO Group is translating its talent strategy into concrete action.
The capabilities, perspectives and energy brought by this new generation of employees will provide lasting momentum for the Group’s sustainable growth.
